I giapponesi si uniscono al resto del mondo e premiano l'acclamato Uncharted 4: A Thief's End anche nelle vendite, facendogli registrare il miglior debutto della saga, superando anche The Last of Us (117,465). In Giappone Uncharted 4 ha un sottotitolo diverso "Il Re dei Pirati e l'ultimo Tesoro". Per il resto classifica abbastanza stagnante e priva di altre uscite, in attesa di Dragon Quest Heroes II.
Passata la Golden Week le vendite hardware si affievoliscono, con la sola PS4 a rimanere sopra i ventimila. La PS3 per la prima volta scende sotto i 1000, dopo quasi 10 anni sul mercato si avvicina anche per lei la pensione.
