Il successo giapponese di Marvel's Spider-Man ha colto di sorpresa la stessa Sony dato che ha venduto oltre il 96% delle copie disponibili, risultando in settimana praticamente introvabile ad Akihabara e dintorni e spingendo molti ad acquistare la versione digitale. In questa seconda settimana l'Uomo Ragno piazza altre ottantamila unità retail superando così la soglia delle 200,000. Poco o nulla può fare Lara Croft con la sua nuova avventura Shadow of the Tomb Raider, che deve accontentarsi di un 2° posto a distanza siderale dall'esclusiva PS4. Il terzo Kit di Nintendo Labo dedicato ai giochi di guida, non vende quanto i precedenti e si piazza fuori dal podio.
