Il Giappone non premia particolarmente Prey, l'ultima fatica degli Arkane Studios non riesce a raggiungere la soglia delle diecimila copie in una classifica comandata ancora da Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Ancora peggio fa la raccolta Danganronpa 1-2 Reload, ma va detto che i giapponesi hanno ormai giocato i due episodi della serie Spike Chunsoft in tutte le salse, avendo debuttato su PSP. Ottima tenuta di NieR: Automata, a 2 mesi dall'uscita.


Come sempre accade in questo periodo, le vendite hardware sono, di pari passo con quelle software, deprimenti. Nintendo Switch è l'unica console a rimanere sopra le ventimila.
