From Software supera se stessa, Elden Ring registra la miglior settimana di lancio della compagnia grazie alle sue 278,507 copie vendute spalmate tra PS4 e PS5, quasi il doppio di Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (150,721) e Bloodborne (150,245), e più di tutti i Dark Souls (256,701 il migliore). Il successo del gioco in occidente è anche maggiore, in UK è il miglior lancio di un gioco non COD/FIFA da Red Dead Redemption 2, superando Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla e Horizon: Forbidden West, nonché la miglior nuova IP da Destiny del 2014,
L'unica altra uscita di rilievo è Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream, che tra PS4 e Switch raggiunge le 40,000 copie.
