Elden Ring viene spodestato dopo appena una settimana da Gran Turismo 7, che debutta con 137,904 copie, e Triangle Strategy, che invece ne registra 86,298, leggermente inferiore a Octpath Traveler e Bravely Default II, ma comunque buono per un RPG tattico. Il colossal di From Software aggiunge comunque altre 70,000 copie al suo bottino ed è già il gioco PS5 più venduto in Giappone. Nessuna traccia in Top 10 di Babylon's Fall, l'insuccesso per l'ultima fatica di Square Enix e Platinum Games sembra quindi confermato anche in patria.
